 About Me

I’m Aman and working as a travel and documentary photographer and videographer based in Kabul, Afghanistan and worked with national and international organization such as UN-Habitat, Chemonics Inc, TEDx, ARTE, Kardan University and…

My parents left Afghanistan in 1992 during civil war and after speeding two decades as refugee just decide to get back to Afghanistan in 2010. Since then here I am, more than a decade later, still happily living and working in my country. I gradually adjusted to city living and feel privileged to have spent a large chunk of my adult life in some of the most vibrant metropolises in the region. Still, I remain a country boy at heart, more comfortable traveling by public transport to walking long distance and listing to people stories to find out more about my deep culture.

Though based in Kabul, I am available for editorial, commercial, portrait, documentary, and travel photography and videography assignments in Afghanistan. I’m ready to tackle any project you have in the pipeline. Take a look at an overview of my work, or visit my photo journal to get a sense of my photographic style. If you like what you see, give me a shout and let me know how I can help out.

A shortlist of my clients includes:
ARTE TV, Propagate Content, Unscrypted Production, DogMoon Media, TEDx, UN-Habitat, Chemonics Inc, TR Ocrean View, Koh Tao Tattoo and…

Let’s create something together. Be in touch.
